What is an Indian wedding?
Indian weddings are the perfect opportunity to take outstanding photos that don’t only look good but also touch the heart.
Most Indian weddings last much longer than Western or European weddings. We have to shoot for at least 2-3 days.
The indian wedding is typically divided into three parts: pre-wedding, main, and post-wedding.
Guest arrival & Welcome dinner – welcome party is held the night before the wedding
Mehendi – henna paste is drawn on the couple’s hands and feet
Pool Party – Guests had dance at artificial rain dance floor, fantastic music and rope pulling games ETC.
Sangeet – this is a rehearsal that involves lots of fun and dances or other performances.
Haldi – during this ceremony, turmeric paste is put on the couple’s bodies. It’s then washed off with sacred water.
Baraat – Arrival At Ceremony Entrance
Ceremony Begins – Groom walks into Mandap The bride enters the ceremony site. The Indian Wedding Ceremony consists of many different rituals e.g. Varmala, Mangalsutra, Saptapadi or Mangal Fera, Kansar Bhakshan
Reception – Reception ceremony is celebrated just after the main wedding day. It is the first public appearance of the newly wed couple after their marriage.
